Energy saving

Thanks to an innovative approach, Prompt Engineering has developed a

very efficient solution based on monitoring, study and simulation, in the field of energy saving into buildings. This methodology consists of integrated use of CAE software (Altair Hyperworks® and Cradle), as well as, a platform based on customized spreadsheet for monitoring and data storage.

The approach used in this kind of analysis starts from monitoring of essential data and ends with a Thermal Simulation.

For putting in place a proper thermal simulation, first is necessary to build geometry, underlining also in detail materials involved in the structure. Second step is the creation of a 3D model. Once 3D model is ready, further step is to proceed with a what/if analysis by changing:

Thermal features of material (adding insulation, changing glasses)
Geometrical features (changing planimetry)
Parameters oh HVAC systems

What/if analysis gives us all possible scenarios and permits the adoption of the most proper solution. After this step, it is possible to proceed with the building of the VIRTUAL MODEL.

This gives possibility to evaluate alternatives and possibilities of improvement of systems and structure; in fact, thanks to this is possible to:

Correlate simulation data with thermo graphic analysis in order to evaluate improvement which can be gained from structural activities
Correlate simulation data with real data (data obtained by sensors)
To improve an objective function for energy saving
